Program & Community Lead – BhaiBahini

Program & Community Lead – BhaiBahini

Nepal · Full-Time · Hybrid / Flexible

Help us turn a meaningful technology platform into a meaningful human experience.

Help us turn a meaningful technology platform into a meaningful human experience.

BhaiBahini is an emerging mentorship platform being built to connect young Nepalis with trusted Nepali professionals and mentors around the world. We are looking for a Program & Community Lead in Nepal who can help us take BhaiBahini from product development into the communities it is being built to serve.

Apply for This Role

THE OPPORTUNITY

Every young Nepali deserves access to honest guidance before making life-changing decisions.

Technology can help make those connections possible. But technology alone cannot create mentorship. That requires trust, community, thoughtful programs, strong relationships, and a deep understanding of the young people we hope to serve. As Program & Community Lead, you will help build that bridge—preparing and operating the BhaiBahini pilot in Nepal, then learning deeply from the experience before broader expansion.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Build the human system around the platform.

Pilot Program Leadership

Plan and operate the Nepal pilot: readiness, timelines, participation, onboarding, feedback, and recommendations for the next iteration.

Community Development

Build trusted relationships with students, schools, colleges, families, educators, and community organizations—and return their insights to the team.

Mentor Community

Support recruitment, onboarding, resources, training, communication, and connected engagement for BhaiBahini’s founding mentor community.

Program Operations

Create repeatable participation processes, maintain trackers and risks, coordinate across teams, and find gaps before they become participant problems.

Learning & Impact

Establish practical measures, gather participant feedback, uncover patterns, and help translate community learning into better platform decisions.

YOU MIGHT THRIVE HERE IF…

You are both structured and deeply human.

You are both structured and deeply human.

You care about Nepal’s young people; you are a builder; you can move from a tracker to a student conversation with genuine attention; you see systems; you build relationships through trust; and you want responsibility that matters.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Bring people together and make programs work.

You may come from program management, education, youth development, community engagement, social impact, nonprofit work, partnerships, entrepreneurship, operations, or another relevant field. More important than a perfect title history is your ability to bring people together and make programs work.

You have 3–6+ years of relevant experience; can independently move a program forward; are organized within ambiguity; communicate naturally with students, educators, and diaspora professionals; facilitate conversations; use digital collaboration tools; turn feedback into insight; and understand that trust must be earned when working with young people.

Why this role matters

BhaiBahini can build excellent technology. But its success will ultimately be measured in the quality of relationships it creates: whether a student feels heard, a mentor feels equipped to guide responsibly, and a young person makes a more informed decision because someone took the time to share what they had learned.

You will help ensure that the human system surrounding the technology is as thoughtfully designed as the technology itself.

What you’ll gain

• Direct experience launching an early-stage social-impact technology platform
• Meaningful ownership of a real pilot program
• Close collaboration with product, technology, design, operations, and leadership
• Exposure to a global Nepali diaspora mentor network
• Opportunity to shape BhaiBahini’s growth across Nepal

BhaiBahini is still being built. You will help write the playbook—and have the chance to say, “I helped build this from the beginning.”

Equal Opportunity & Inclusion

BhaiBahini is intended to serve young Nepalis across differences in geography, gender, economic background, caste, ethnicity, Indigenous identity, disability, and lived experience. We are committed to dignity, fairness, inclusion, and respect—and particularly welcome applicants who bring lived experience or professional understanding of Nepal’s diverse communities.

Help us build a culture of mentorship for Nepal.

If you care about young people, community, technology, and the possibility of building something meaningful from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
